Excellent performance and reliability

1000 Channels
The EVX-C79 allows up to 1000 channels to be stored via programming software, each of which can be individually defined as digital or analog or mixed-mode. The channels can be divided into 250 zones and can be quickly switched between groups via preset programmable side keys.
The
EVX-C79 is a mixed-mode auto-recognition model that not only works in digital mode, but is also compatible with previous analog systems, and is particularly equipped with analog and digital adaptation functions. The EVX-C79 supports automatic recognition of analog and digital signals, allowing users to communicate with existing analog walkie-talkie users as well as with the new analog/digital dual-mode DMR digital radio users.
Dual-slot calls
In addition to the optional dual-slot calls in trunk mode, the EVX-C79 also supports the pass-through dual-slot feature in the DMR standard. New to DMR digital radios, you get two communication paths on one frequency, doubling call capacity without the need for repeaters.
Call Force-Insertion allows
the walkie-talkie with priority to interrupt the current call at a critical moment to ensure that important calls are delivered first.
Protection Features
The EVX-C79 radio has an IP67 rating. It has a high dust resistance and has passed the water immersion test of a maximum water depth of 1 meter and 30 minutes under standard conditions, making it suitable for users in various special industries in harsh environments.
VFO Mode

RTC Real-Time Clock The
walkie-talkie has a built-in real-time clock and is guaranteed to operate with a separate battery. The clock is set by programming software when it is first enabled to provide accurate time information. Users can edit, modify and display the real-time clock directly through the LCD, and the real-time clock can be used as a time stamp of the recording function to facilitate the user’s time management.
Stand-alone mode
This is a function designed in digital mode to confirm the safety status of the user. The stand-alone mode is a built-in timer that requires the user to reset within a preset time interval, and if the user does not press the PTT button to reset the timer, the radio will automatically enter emergency mode and send out an alarm signal.

Recording function*
In both analog and digital modes, the call content and call time can be saved, especially in the digital mode, the ID code of incoming/outgoing calls can be saved at the same time, supporting 8 or 300 hours of [optional] recording, and the user can easily turn the recording function on/off/play/delete the function by pressing the button. In particular, the recording data can be imported into the computer and saved in WAV format, which is suitable for long-term storage, management and query of call content.
