Automatic recognition of digital-to-analog hybrid modes

With both analog and digital adaptive features, the Z418 supports automatic recognition of analog and digital signals, so users can communicate with existing analog radio users as well as with the new analog/digital dual-mode DMR digital radio users.

Pass-through mode

A new feature of DMR digital radios, pass-through dual time slots allow users to get two communication paths on one frequency, doubling call capacity without the need for repeaters.

32 channels

The Z418 can be programmed to store up to 32 channels, each individually defined as digital, analog, or mixed-mode. The channels can be divided into 2 groups and quickly switched with preset programmable side keys.

Voice channel announcement
