You can press either the main PTT for LTE or the sub PTT button for IDAS\u2122 or analog channel to answer in accordance\u00a0with pre-programming. If necessary, you can press the main and sub PTT buttons to address two groups at the same time.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 class=\"headline3 title\">Bridge Function<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"headline3 title\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The Bridge function* relays received IDAS\u2122 digital or analog audio to the LTE radio group, while transferring the LTE radio conversations to the IDAS\u2122 or analog group. This function is useful when communicating outside of the LTE service coverage area with an IDAS\u2122 or analog radio, or temporary cross band connection between two IDAS\u2122 or analog radio groups using different frequencies, channels or modes (IDAS\u2122\/analog).<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"mod_cont mb2\">\n<p>(Analog mode bridge function is available with firmware update (version 1.24 or later).)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 class=\"headline3 title\">LTE Mode<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>LTE mode provides\u00a0push-to-talk\u00a0communication over an LTE (4G) and 3G network*. The\u00a0cellular network provides coverage into building basements\u00a0or high-rise floors where conventional radio systems may\u00a0not reach.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 class=\"headline3 title\">IDAS\u2122 Mode<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>IDAS\u2122 digital mode is a conventional VHF\/UHF radio\u00a0mode using licensed professional radio channels.\u00a0It also provides Individual, Group and All calls with PTT\u00a0operation. When operating in remote, mountainous\u00a0areas, 4G\/3G networks may not be available.\u00a0Conventional VHF\/UHF communications provide a\u00a0stable, local alternative.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3 class=\"headline3 title\">Sub PTT Button for Dual Mode Operation<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The IP730D series has two PTT buttons;\u00a0the main PTT button and the sub PTT\u00a0button. You can use one for LTE\u00a0communication and the other for an\u00a0IDAS\u2122\/Analog channel.
