Display & Keyboard
Equipped with full dot matrix LCD backlit display, support Chinese or English display switching. The
EVX-C59 is a mixed-mode auto-recognition model that not only works in digital mode, but is also compatible with previous analog systems, and is particularly equipped with analog and digital adaptation functions. The EVX-C59 supports automatic recognition of analog and digital signals, allowing users to communicate with existing analog walkie-talkie users as well as with the new analog/digital dual-mode DMR digital radio users.
Secure Operation Mechanism
The EVX-C59 provides multiple security operation mechanisms to protect user privacy, including the read-write frequency password of the programming software and the customizable 8-digit boot password. At the same time, the administrator can set the walkie-talkie to the keyboard inactive mode to avoid accidental operation that may lead to communication failure. These mechanisms will ensure your safe use.
Pass-through mode
Pass-through dual time slots, a new feature of DMR digital radios, allow you to get two communication paths on one frequency, doubling call capacity without the need for repeaters.
Stand-alone mode
This is a function designed in digital mode to confirm the safety status of the user. The stand-alone mode is a built-in timer that requires the user to reset within a preset time interval, and if the user does not press the PTT button to reset the timer, the radio will automatically enter emergency mode and send out an alarm signal.
128 Channels
Allows up to 128 channels to be stored via programming software, each of which can be individually defined as digital or analog or mixed mode. These channels can be divided into 8 zones and switched via preset programmable side buttons or by entering the host menu.
SMS function EVX-C59 supports SMS reception and display in both Chinese and English, and can preset up to 50 fixed content SMS messages through programming software, and can send text messages directly to designated contacts with one-click access function. You can also input Chinese, English and characters through the host keyboard and send them manually.

Call Recording*
Models with recording are available at the time of ordering, and this option supports digital communication mode only, with approximately 200 hours of continuous recording.
